Peña La Platería
Granada's oldest flamenco peña, running live shows in the Albaicín 5–10 nights a month. More intimate than Sacromonte caves and roughly half the price.
Experience the passion of flamenco in the bars and tablaos of Granada, where tradition and art meet.
Flamenco bars and tablaos offer a unique cultural experience, blending live performance and drinks in an authentic Andalusian atmosphere. In Granada, flamenco is experienced mainly in the Sacromonte cave venues — tablaos cut into the hillside where the gypsy flamenco tradition grew — or during special evenings at certain traditional bars in the Albaicín. Shows feature guitar, singing and dance in an intimate format, often with audience interaction. Prices vary considerably: from €15–20 for a show only to €50–80 with dinner included. This category is developing — see our flamenco shows page, which lists the main Sacromonte tablaos. Some bars in the centre also organise occasional flamenco evenings.
